My husband would like to apply for an entry level rig job. We live in texas and oil rig workers are everywhere but we can't seem to find a way to apply for a job. Any information on how to do so ?

ask the oil rig workers you meet. they get bonus references for referring people so they are happy to do so.

actually most are NOT oil rig workers but are working the natural gas fields and the other type. one particularly is doing the delivery and setup with the trucks so if he has a cdl license even better.

get used to not seeing him for days at a time and only a few days off.

You requested in a weird spot, but I consider babysitting could be a good paying job! I labored in April for a household that paid me $660 for two kids (for a full month). And that i most effective worked four hours a day 5 days per week! You do not must pay taxes on babysitting due to the fact it's a individual carrier. Excellent luck!
